Race Takes Place This Saturday with 50 Horses Set to Start
The 2023 Grand National will take place this Saturday, April 15th, at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, England. The race is one of the most prestigious and challenging horse races in the world, with a total prize pool of £1 million.
A total of 50 horses have been declared for the race, including last year's winner, Noble Yeats. Other notable runners include Corach Rambler, who is the current favorite with odds of 7-1. Any Second Now, Delta Work, and Gaillard Du Mesnil are also among the contenders.
The Grand National is a grueling race, with horses jumping over 30 fences over a distance of four miles and two furlongs. The race is known for its difficulty, and only about half of the horses who start the race finish it.
The race will be broadcast live on ITV in the UK and on NBC in the US. The first race is scheduled to start at 5:15pm BST.
