Beloved Host to Step Down After Upcoming Season

Pat Sajak, the longtime host of "Wheel of Fortune," has announced that he will be retiring from the show after its upcoming season. Sajak, 77, has been at the helm of the popular game show for over 40 years.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed Sajak's last episode will be Friday, June 7. Sajak gave no indication of who may replace him, but Suzanne Prete, executive vice president of game shows at Sony Pictures Television, said the studio is "working on a long-term solution for the show."
